April sucks so far!!!!

April has been very interesting in our house.  First off my husband lost his job on April 1st.  When they told him, he kept waiting for them to say April Fools, but no joke here.  And to top it off he was let go because he does his job to well and the manager of the yard was threatened.  But hubby came home got on some nice clothes and hit the streets.  He got a job three hours after they fired him.  He is working for a sewer and plumbing company.  He has worked there before, so they knew him and they were exstatic to have him back!!   Then the next week I finally went to the dentist.  The tooth that has been bothering me had gotten really bad.  He looked at it and decided that the tooth was broken and the tooth next to it was too.  So he sent me home with an antibiotic and we scheduled the extraction for the next week.   This was a tuesday and by satruday the whole left side of my face was swollen.  Hubby hauled me off to the emergency room where they gave another antibiotic to take with the one that the dentist had given me.  Also ER gave me an antibiotic shot and a pain shot, because my vicodin was not cutting it anymore.  I got the teeth pulled and when the dentist got them out they fell into pieces in his hand.   A couple of days later we had a flood in our apartment.  They two apartments above us ahd a pipe burst and it was raining in our apartment.  Only thing that got ruined was the stuff we had stored in a huge closet.  But it was all our important papers and stuff like that.   I had an appointment with my PC doc.  Went really well but I told her I had this strange sore throat.  She looked at it and I had a bunch of white patches on it, but I couldn't have strep because I was still on the antibiotics for my tooth.  So she decided that it was Thrush!!!  I have a yeast infection in my mouth and throat.  I thought babies were the only ones to get Thrush.  It sucks!!  It makes food taste icky and the medicine gives me really bad breath.     I had my little surgery on the 14th.  It was supposed to be a simple LEEP but I guess nothing is simple with me.  lol  They had a hard time numbing the area, and it had gotten bigger than it was when they decided to do the procedure.  So they would give me a shot and them start working and it would still hurt.  The shots had lidocaine and epinephrine in it.  So about 2 minutes after they gave me the shots, my heart would feel like it was going to jump out of my chest.  I could actually see my heart beating through my shirt it was beating so fast and hard.  When she got close to the end it started hurting again but she just had a little bit to go so she just kept on and finished.  After everything was done they treated the places and thought they were done but I guess I had other ideas.  I wouldn't stop bleeding.  So they had to keep watching it and putting more what looked like peanut butter on it.  I finally stopped bleeding and they let me go, but I was still shaking from the shots and felt really jumpy.   I would really like to know when Spring is going to get here.  In the last week we have had snow three times!!!!!  It's ridiculous!!! Oh and last but not least, we found out that our rent has been raised.  We are now paying $800.00 for a 575 square foot BASEMENT apartment.  But we can't move just yet.   So if nothing else I can say April has been a journey for us.  Come on May!!!!
