April 1/10

I am seeing a councellor next Thursday, guess she deals with what I am going thru.
There is one on one councelling for as long as I want/need it then there are support groups but not until you are 3 months into this journey.
I spoke to a lady today who invited me to her group but they go lawn bowling and I think I am really too active for them, I think I am about 20 years younger too!
Made it to 3 stores today, felt pretty good for about 4 hours in a row.
I'll visit my (almost 95 year old) Dad in the morning and we'll go out for lunch somewhere.
I am still down 71 pounds but I did buy ice cream today, just needed something. I will not allow myself to get where I was, but since I have not had any since June, I figured it was ok, and I know Pat would agree with me.

Good luck with the counseling, I am sure it will help. There are probably more active groups around and I am sure you will find the right one for you. Have a great visit with your dad. hugs j

I wish you the very best with the counseling and know that visiting your father will be good for you. I know when my father passed away my mother joined a group where you live. She found it helpful and she was 20 years older. She said there were woman of all ages mostly though older. She didn\'t get into all of the stuff but found it helpful to other that understood how she felt and it did help her. I wish you the best and send hugs to you.
