appt in Jan

I have finally been given an appt with the sleep specialist, 7 weeks from now.  I know he will want to do more testing and I'm frustrated that i can't have the testing done before the appt.  Some would call that the cart before the horse i guess.  My appt is on the 15 of Jan and my first grandchild is due on the 20th.   I can not drive until i am on medication for my cataplexy so this is a bit frustrating.  I can not even drive her to the hospital if she goes into labor unexpectedlly.
