Approaching with caution

It's been a week today since the big blow up between Jeffrey and Sarah (my 2 youngest - 19 & 18). I had to let the dust settle a bit before addressing the issue as I had other pressing problems to deal with that were frying my remaining brain cells (my car needed urgent repairs and I had to borrow money to do them). Just too much at once. I know they say that God doesn't give you more than you can handle ...and so far that's proven to be true as I'm still vertical and haven't totally lost my mind, just parts of it ;-)But I REALLY wish that He didn't have so damn much confidence in my ability to handle so much. Or is it written some where that you must be at capacity at all times? UGH!!!I'm tired already!!! Enough....give me time to catch my breath, space out the emergencies...solve one problem at a time. PLEASE.Anyway...I've spoken with J. a couple of times, in bits and pieces. Testing the water, to see his perspective and whether the topic would bring on another round of war or not. First time was suitably contrite but not ready to talk. I let it be known that this is not over... ie. don't think that it's all forgotten the next day just because it's quiet.Next time, got a little more attitude..had to let it drop, could see this was going to be counterproductive unfortunately. But I did make sure to get the last word and say that there has to be change around here and that we would talk again.I have brought up the subject of anger management but was met with disdain and "I don't need that crap" kind of attitude. This is going to be an uphill battle. But then what would make me think otherwise?
