Appreciating Another Day
I haven't been on here forever. I've been thinking of quite a few of you and wondering what you have been up to. I have finally seen the nephrologist and am still doing more tests (mostly bloodwork now) simply trying to learn and regulate numbers from all the issues . I now know that all the years I was taking Advil actually did start the ball rolling (according to doctor years of use still can have a negative effect --just like smoking or drinking) I've had to give it up but have probably only been off a month or two so he;s rechecking that too. So I've been wrapped up seeing all my doctors and doing very little. He did give me some encouragement and things are mapped out and checked.
I am finally feeling some glimmer of hope again. Also the warmer weather and peeping of small buds and blooms trying to pop through is also a good sign. I do love spring and fall more than the more drastic heat and cold. I hope you are all getting a good taste of springtime.
Last weekend was Jaxon's 9th birthday party and we all had a great time. He is truly growing up and is such an amazing kid (but then I am partial, haha) He's smart as a whip and reading well beyond his class level. He goes through so many (more than any of the adults in our family) He is a fanatic of the I survived series (which is historical fiction to bring all these history lessons to life for the kids. ) an avid sports fan and loves to play soccer and baseball. He did take a bit of grief to cut his hair (has grown so long it hangs in hos face) He always parts it to one side but bangs can get in his eyes. Not sure why but he'd rather be like the cool kids and be constantly throwing his head back to see.. Kids. lol
Here's to more good days ahead for us all.

Kim you were missed! Glad your appt with the kidney doctor was more better than a train wreck! LoL we don’t need train wrecks and do not like it when those happen.
I just been working now 2 days a week. One at $15hx6 hrs
Second was today $19hr x5 hrs.
Both at auto auction. Sale day pays better!! Also I am now sort of out of driving cars. I am traffic control now on a corner T from front entrance to both sides of the main big big arena building where 9 or more doors open for cars to go in and out other sides 9 or more doors. They are tall enough a Semi truck can go thru most of them.
So I use s car I grab at start and has enough gas. If its freezing like today I can get in and warm up. Bonus points are it has heated/air conditioned seats! I am not looking forward to when the heat is issue and need AC because much is done outside the car.
Just today did zero interest until July 2026 balance transfer from psypal credit where 30+% interest rate is. It was not much but I think worth it. New BOA CC. I have another week before zero interest disappears.
Any savings like that can be big difference these days!

Glad to hear things are improving for you with your health! It’s nice to have that glimmer of hope!!
I’m not supposed to take Advil either it causes ulcers in my digestive track it’s also the only thing that helps my inflammation of sinuses do quite the predicament
Spring has sprung!! The grass is turning green and the trees are budding!! I hope you enjoy the season!!!!!
Glad you are getting good advice. NSAIDs (Advil is an NSAID) injured my stomach and intestines and I got this terrible gastritis one time. Now I manage the arthritis with gabapentin and an occasional Tylenol which has its own issues. I still occasionally (maybe 2X per month) take the leftover NSAIDs from when I got sick in 2020 and continue to have the same symptoms from the big gastritis. So I may take one and get the cramping just to have 12 hours of inflammation relief and pain relief. I will be better the next day pain wise usually but then have an upset digestive system. Your warning here is something I will take seriously.
We are warming up but with those horrible strong western winds bringing dust and that is making people sick. Including me. I am also on and off of DS, not here daily. I am trying to limit social media. That male hairstyle is so common and I remember when boys in my high school did the same! Whatever is old becomes new again.
