Appointment update

Well as you know my appointment was today. Not a whole lot to report. She didnt check my cervics today because I've not at any contractions at all. Still measuring ahead and babies heartrate was fine. If I make it till next Monday I'll have my ultrasound to see how big my little man is getting. I've been having extreme swelling in my right foot and my lower stomach gets these pouches on it. She checked me and am retaining LOTS of fluid. She told me there was 1 or 2 things we could do. I could get stockings and where them during the day or she could limit my hours at work, or we could do both. So we decided to do both. She doesnt want me working more than 4-6 hours a day. After I got to work today I called HR to see how that was going to affect things. They said the hours I miss now which will end up being around 3 a day will be taken off the top of my maternity leave since I'm taking the extended leave which is 12 weeks ( I hope so anyways havent made the final call on the 6 or 12 weeks leave). I wont be paid for this time I'm taking now because our disability doesnt do partial disability only full disability. So the best solution would be for my doctor to take me off full completely that way I can start my disability now and actually get paid for it. Instead of waiting till the babies born to get paid. I tried calling the doctor today to see if that would be an option. She hasnt called back yet hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow. I'm not really worried about it either way because I'm sure Brayden will be here either this week or next. She told me if he hasnt came by the time I'm 40 weeks then we can talk about my options (either waiting or inducing). So if hes not here by Thursday of next week we can talk about inducing. Other than that thats all I  found out today. I'm praying that my doctor will just take me off. I could use the time to rest before the baby gets here. I've been COMPLETELY exhusted. I could sleep 24/7 if someone would let me. Hopefully that means hes coming soon. Only time will tell......I'll let you guys know what I hear from the doctor. Hugs Monica.
