Appoint. with professor
I called up the office of my Professor to see if I could get the results of my test - I couldn't I had to make an appointment and got one the next day! =o
I went in, my mother was down for easter so she came along...asked all the questions under the sun.. found out about my progesterone is willing to let me try i for the 2 months if I continue to write down in my journal its effects on me.
He looked at my operation pictures - told me he has seen women with worse but explained to me where it was.. Im about a stage II - issue now is the amount of pain I CONTINUE to be in! he said the only option I have left now is a major surgery because he believes its embedded deeply.
I go back to him in 2 months to tell him how the tablets are working and if I have no pain relief he is willing to refer me to a special endo clinic here for a consultation for a major op (exicision). He hasn't got much hope for the progesterone tablets - and my breakthrough bleeding was a period almost as painful as the rest with lots of clots! 1 week after I finished my last.. so now I dont know when I'm due again? By tomorrow I think I will have stopped my period.. but it's doing nothing for me pain wise.
He wants to know about my mothers blood disorder I guess to look into it? He told me this type of surgery isnt done so easily but is a last resort mainly for people with alot of Endo and/or who suffer alot of pain... I'm guessing it will be done by the end of the year and he was honest in saying only 1/3 of women have relief.. I'm willing to try! relief is relief! I COULD be in that 33.333333*% =)
I have private health Im worried about money, but Im willing to save! and my parents are willing to help...Im going to keep going with my studies im slowly but surely digging away at it bit by bit! =)
He was also honest in saying my Gyno probably doesn't want to fix the problem as much of a nice guy as he is that and he can't fix it.. the professor said if I dont get better which im not ill only get worse..its a disease with no known cure and I have it for life! He also said they are willing to help me in any/all ways possible and continue to see me for life =)
I have to stay positive!
