Applying for a Job?
I looked today and they have an open position at the clinic that I qualify for, it's just a full time position and I was thinking part time. I know I can't handle a full time position right now, so I have to see if they will accept me as a part time instead of full time. I think if I'm qualified and I'm on disability, they have to give me consideration. I think my neighbor who works there would be my boss, and that would be nice since she is nice. I would like to get to know the job better, so I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what's involved. I would have today, but I was busy working and I didn't want to take time off from work to see about getting another job. It just didn't seem right. I mean, it's the same place and all, but I just didn't want to seem like I'm greedy or something. I don't know why I didn't think of applying at the clinic before when I was job hunting, but now that I'm there I can see the jobs they have and they are good. I think once I'm able to get off of disability I should try and work there. I should be able to stay living where I am once I get a job... I know that there are income restrictions here, but I don't think I will be making that much money. I know at first going off disability will be hard, since I'm going to have to most likely take a pay cut (I would be getting my SSDI and part time work pay while on disability, and just regular pay when off). I would have to get used to it, but I want to be off the system as soon as I can so I can go back to being a productive member of society. Well, I am, but at the same time I'm living off the system which I don't want to be doing.
Overall, today was a good day. I slept like crap last night, but after some coffee I felt better. Well, I didn't even really need the coffee but I drank it anyway. I got about 12 hours of sleep again last night, from about 10:30pm to 9:30am, and then from 11am to noon. I hate when I have a gap like that, but I was still tired when I woke up at 9:30, so I wanted to go back to sleep. It didn't work right away, so I got up and did some stuff around the apartment while I was trying to get back to sleep. I managed a nap which I counted as part of my night's sleep so that's good. I kept waking up off and on all night, so that's why I said I slept like crap. I forget how many times I woke up, but it felt like a bunch. I was able to fall asleep pretty soon after I woke up for the most part, but it's the waking up that makes you feel tired. I think your REM sleep is interrupted or something like that. For all the sleep I need, you would think that I would know more about it, but I don't know too much. My mood was good, though. I had to work with the girl who wasn't as fun as the guy I worked with on Friday, but oh well. You can't choose your coworkers, you just have to deal with them. I had a ton of fun on Friday working with this guy, but he works in the back normally. They should put him at the front desk since he speaks Spanish.
Food today was pretty good... I'm almost in my calorie range for the day. If I get hungry I have room for a snack later tonight. I think I'm going to be sleeping, but I like to have room for a snack if I don't fall asleep right away. If I miss my sleep window I could be up until after midnight, and I normally get hungry if I'm up that late. Yesterday I was in my calorie range thanks to some carrot cake. Stress today was moderate... working with that girl is a bit harder than working with the first one who was there, but oh well. Yesterday stress was high over at my in-laws... I don't know why but I get stressed out when I go over there. I think because I still feel pressure to be “good” and on my best behavior, even though when I stress out I get migraines and then I have to leave. I don't know. I need to figure out a way to be over there and not stress. Good luck with that, right?

Good luck with the job. I hope they are cooperative and let you work p/t.
You are doing well with your eating. Did you ever think of taking your calories for the next day. if you have a late night snack near midnight because you can\'t sleep you could always put it on the next day\'s calories. Don\'t stress about it. Just get a good nights sleep .
You will figure out a way to de stress when going to your in laws. just think you will be less stress and maybe that will help. LOL
If you get a job, you can still have ssdi as long as you only earn $1000 a month, then there is the 9 minth trial work period where you can earn as much as you want before the ssdi goes away, you need to look into all that stuff, I don\'t really know about that stuff, but I have heard about the
$1000 a month thing. Good luck with the job search, I have started looking for a job too, I need to get a job soon in order to stay in my apartment, or I am going to end up homeless again.
