Aother day.
Another ramble.I am not sleeping well again so am awake several hours during the night.Now I am so tired. Work was ok yesterday evening. There are so many decorations around the village this year. It looks lovely. Can't get my head around putting ours up.
I felt so sad at work yesterday saying goodbye to a lady who is going into the nursing home today to die. She is so wonderful & has put up with the most awful rotting wound on her face. I don't know how she can be so gracious. I told her it had been a pleasure to look after her & she took my hands & said the most wonderful things to me.It brings tears to my eyes writing about it. it is moments like that that make feel so humble. I pray the end is peaceful for her.
Today is so humid.It really affects me so I will stay in the airconditioning I think. No work thank goodness. Ed is working late today so that means I don't have to worry about dinner & I get the remote again!! How sad that makes me happy. I need to get a life.
As I write this, the cleaner is washing the floors. I used to feel guilty but now I just enjoy it.One of my luxuries since being diagnosed.
Anyway, enough rambling. I can feel a rest coming on.

The connection between nurses and patients is so powerful sometimes. Your patient sounds like such a nice lady. Your kindness could have made the difference in her acceptance and peace.
I hope that you\'re feeling better today. I think about your \"neck of the woods\" a lot because Oprah talks about the trip she gave away to Australia. It\'s hard to imagine that as it\'s getting frigid here, you all (ya\'ll as they say here) are facing a summer.
The humidity gets me too. Well, the dryness also. Humidity makes it impossible to breath and the dryness gives me painful dry eyes.
I\'m glad that you\'re able to rest. You are so good to yourself to have a cleaner.

I stayed up all day yesterday & am now wide awake at 3am! I will probably sleep late tomorrow.
The cleaner comes for three hours every two weeks. Getting the bathrooms done &floors has been a great help. I often sleep while she is here.
I think all weather affects us! It reached 31deg yesterday & is still 24deg now.
Yes, There has been a lot of hype about oprah. What a great thing for the audiance. See a show & end up going to Australia! We have been having a lot of rain so I hope it stays dry for them.
