Aother day
Another hot day. I was awake for most of the night again so got up & starting writing Christmas cards------- better late than never!
Ed was starting work at 630am so was suprised to see me up. At 7am he rang me to say he had left his glasses at home. So by 7am I am on the road taking them to him. I came home & did some washing & then felt like I had been on a long haul flight. I decided to have a sleep & then Poppy started growling as it started to thunder & rain. I lept up & grabbed the washing in, & now it is sunny again.So I have the drier going & the sun shining. Can't win.
I saw the rhumy yesterday. All my blood tests are good. I had a bone density test which was perfect.So on paper all is well, so why do I feel so bad some days? What a frustrating illness! My liver function tests were better so I only need to have the blood tests every three months. I was on monthly then second so that is good.
After my appt. I went to the library & had lunch & got some books. I love to read even though my eyes are blurry sometimes. I then went to the bank for an old lady friend of mine who I have power of atourney[can't spell] for. She has inherited over $250,000 from her sister & I put it in the bank for her. It was amazing to be able to do that for her as she is a pensioner with little money. I hope she enjoys it.
I have put the airconditioning on as it is hot. Lovely cool air.
After the bank I went to a favourite cheap clothes shop & bought some reduced tops. As I was paying for them I saw a lovely red handbag. It was only $29 so I bought it! Happy Christmas Andree!!
I then boght something for dinner & felt so off I went into bakery & had a drink--------& bought two mini cheese cakes!
Ed was home when I got back & said he had eaten his sandwhiches at 4pm so did'nt want dinner only cheese & biscuits. How lucky was that!!I am beginning to feel human again so might go & have a shower.
The rhumy asked me what I was doing for my holidays as I have Jan off. I told him I was having it off to avoid working in the heat so he said "Don't work in the garden!" No hope of that with me! I have this feeling Jan will be cool & when I go back to work in Feb it will be hotter than ever! Mind you Feb is usually hot & humid. I left England to escape the bad weather & now I am trying to escape the heat.
Time to go.Maybe I will get the presents wrapped this afternoon.

It always take me back a bit when I read how hot it is for you as it\'s getting colder here in North America. How hard to have left home thinking you\'d have relief from one climate only to be knocked out with another.
I can understand the whole bit about having tests come back good with no answer for why the body hurts so. I did have one flare that went on for so long and the bloodwork reflected the flare. When we see the Rhuemy every 6th month there is no way on that one day\'s visit that they can really know what\'s going on. And all this goes on while our medical bills pile up.
I\'m glad that you\'re able to take time off. Poppy will sure have fun with you home too!

We had a huge storm yesterday so Poppy was following me around like a bad smell. The temp. dropped 10deg in 10 mins. so that was a blessing.Hope you feel better.
