Anyone else feel this way?

I won't go outside for a walk in my neighborhood to get some exercised because I'm ashamed of myself and the way I look. How bizarre is that? Does anyone else feel this way ever?

Like they are judging me or something... the people in the houses or walking on the street. Is that paranoia? And depression?

For a few years I couldnt leave the house alone. I would always have to be with someone else to feel safe while outside. A large part of it was because I would have catcalls and sometimes insults being directed at me when walking on the street. So I became extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable to be in public alone. At least my boyfriends were of some use as they made great bodyguards haha. The fear eventually left, but I do think I was paranoid of the worst happening. I still cant go to the mall alone, I feel pressure and the feeling of being watched. Almost like the symptoms of claustrophobia. I think a lot of individuals experience that, being outside your comfort zone can trigger panic.

Thanks for your responses guys. For me it feels like I am so ugly and I\'m wearing ugly clothes, and I am an unacceptable person and it\'s written all over my face. That\'s why i don\'t want to go out for a walk in my neighborhood.
