Anxiety Wins Again...
So, I am new to this. I've suffered from anxiety my entire life. Recently I have admitted to myself and my husband that it is a problem. As a result I started an antidepressant, which at first dramatically shifted my outlook. Last night, however, I was unable to control it. I freaked out again, ruining my husband's night and weekend, and once again putting my needs above his. The resulting fight left me wondering and worrying about the fate of our marriage. As I go to bed now, he still is feeling upset about everything. I wish there were a way to be transformed, to wake up with the coping skills I so desperately need. Without them, I fear my husband will shut me out of his life and be filled with resentment towards me. My anxiety constantly leaves me feeling crazy and like a failure. I wish I could take control. How do I cope with my issues without ruining my marriage in the process? I joined this site hopeful to find a different source of solace that isn't my husband; it is too great a burden for our marriage to bear.
