Anxiety despite things letting up

A few things have resolved. Tests came back negative for feline aids or luekemia. So why can't my body calm the hell down. I still wake up trembling.

I haven't heard back about my mammogram, maybe that's in the back of my mind, lurking, waiting to clobber me. Can there ever be a time where I can just exhale and be ok for a damn minute?

It takes time to calm the part of the brain down that's triggered by flight or fight. I was going through
it this morning. I watch the leaves swaying in breeze and birds chirping for half hour or so. Taking
slow deep breaths. Or I watch a Utube nature channel . A stream, lake, etc. for a while.

So good to hear about the cats' test results.
I hope your mammogram comes back negative.
I hear you, I am the exact same way with waiting.

So glad your cat is doing well. My wife has annual mammograms, and ever since this pandemic results have been taking longer to get. I stand behind me wife during this difficult time and it make us both nervous. So your not alone. I have done this for many others here at DS. I'm going to send a note off to Jerusalem where it will be place in the Whaling Wall. And they will pray for you for seven days.

I'd like to know about how you send a prayer request so it can be placed in the Wailing Wall. It sounds like a great concept.
