Antique Car show
In early May there was a car show. The town has 2, one in May and the other, bigger one, on Labor Day weekend. I like going, it's very nostalgic. I also had my first hot fudge sundae of the season at Woody's Ice cream parlor. YUM! I went to the Farmer's Market before I headed to the car show.

Hi Linda, awesome cool antiques, classic cars :) We're so happy you enjoyed a wonderful day and a great time going to the farmer's market, classic cars show, and also treated yourself to a nice hot fudge sundae :) That's a very nice treat :)The lettuce at the farmer's market looks great :) it's so nice, seeing all of the sights :) Thank you for sharing with us :) The 1950's style cars are my favorite :) 57 chevy, and 58 plymouth fury's :) Wishing you many more fun adventures like this :) Happy sunny smiles :)
My first car was a volkswagon beetle that I bought it for $200 from my best friend's older sister named Bonny. The only bad thing about them was they had to be moving forward in order for the heater to work so cleaning ice and snow off it in the winter was a chore.
I am old enough to remember the "Thing" and I wished I had one today. The bad thing about them was they started rusting in just a few years. Back then they didn't have very good rust proofing like they do today, so the engine always lasted longer then the car did.
Those were the days, my friend :-) hugs
Love all these photos. Instant smiles!
My first car was also a VW Beetle, dark blue 1970 model. My current husband was my boyfriend back then and he liked my car so much he went out and got a later model ('72?) yellow beetle. I had that car from about age 17 to only selling it when I had three kids and couldn't get a car seat to fit in the backseat. So ten years!
I love those photos of the lettuce, etc.
So glad to enjoy this from your visit. Thank you.
