Antidepressants??

About antidepressants - has anyone noticed that the advertisements about these warn
of suicidal tendencies when taken in the teen years and early
adulthood? And if one takes them in the senior years
there is an increased chance of death?
Alrighty then - what the hell?? We can take these for what - 10 years maybe 15
years? Cool - you too can be out of depression for a specified amount of time only
to look forward to depression and death soon.
Wow - and one usually needs a useless psychiatrist to prescribe these useless
medications.
Ain't medicine great?

addict? I love it that he professed to be an expert at what we all
REALLY feel - that is just scary.

Haha..really?? Freud was a coke addict?!? No wonder he thought all women suffered from penis envy..never could get my head around that one!!
Yes, Freud was a total addict. Go figure...
Sometimes when I start a new medication I look at the side effects and it is scary, but then I think, as things are I am thinking of checking out real early, so anything that keeps me happy enough to stick around a while longer is better. Trouble is, a lot of the medications I\'ve tried had gnarly side effects and still didn\'t do a thing for me. Oh well, got to keep trying new things until something works. Today I\'m pretty good.
We had had reports about the drugs here on the news services. We do not had ads for or against Rx drugs on our media - against the law.
Interesting about Freud being a cocaine addict. Many people were as it was a readily available drug that you bought OTC. My Nan was addicted to it too, though she didn\'t know it as it was in the pain killer he used for her RA/Osteo.
You couldn\'t get it now but it was a mix of aspirin, tylenol (paracetamol) and cocaine.
I really hate drugs as they can have so many side effects- some are not evident until years later.

LOL about the penis envy - and one has to wonder - since he was so obsessed with thinking that all women suffer from penis envy just how big was his? Small I\'m guessing.....:)

Having a bad night but this made me laugh...when I went to a young dr and asked her for xanax in order t sleep, she was very concerned..bvecause the could become addictive...I sail look, I\"m 68yrs old, how long ddddo I have........how addicted can I get.....she laughed and said drs had to be careful because some people resold them to others.........I asked how all the kids I taught could get a hold of anything???? She said from drs who were unethical....so I told her, if she wsn\'t going to give them to me I would like the name of one of those drs.....or I could purchase tham from one of the kids on the street.........lol.......of course I was just joking about that.........
