Another week off...

Another week off of work... Currently I am on FLMA for my HS. In Feb I was diagnosed with HS, finally. I had been going to the Dr. for about 3 years on the same problem. Constantly going through this wretched pain, but not knowing why. I was fed countless amounts of antibiotics, some long term, some not. It went away at one point for a couple of months, then returned but worse than before. Again, on doxicyclene and clindamycin. I was using topical solutions but it would heal the few places on the outside, but not the inside. So I had more pain as it was trying to surface, again. Usually I have a pretty stressful job, which is like the job I have now that I'm on leave from. Working on moving from here and moving closer to my parents, who can help me if I need it. About 5 years ago I found out I was diabetic because a test showed I was over 500 on my blood sugar. So I have dealt with that and lost weight and started excersizing. About 6 months ago I found out I have kidney disease, now HS. The HS has been something I have been dealing with for about 20 years but never diagnosed. I have many scars around by waistline and groin area. I am currently avoiding all nightshade vegetables.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only person in the world with this problem. For a long time I was positive I was, for a long time I just thought I was the only broken one. Thank you to all of you in this group for speaking up. It means a lot to some of us. Happy Easter!!!
