another unit

Well got into work this morning, wasn't looking forward to it as one of `them' were on shift with me, but knew i had a good assistant team manager on and also the team manager was around.  Took a phone call not long after getting there, asking me if i would go to the Warren to work this morning, so off I trotted !!!!  Yet another shift out of my unit - this one was planned last evening.  I think it was done after I had spoken to the Care Manager about what had happened, think she did it so i could get out of the unit.  These last 3 shifts though have been bliss, and has shown me how good working Bank Staff could be, at least with Bank Staff I can work in different units, I won't necessarily be in the same unit all the time, and will be able to choose when I work.  Seeing the Care Services Manager tomorrow, got a couple of questions for her, but providing those answers are the right ones then I think i'll go for it.  Talking to jane about it this evening again and we are both in agreement that it seems the right decision at present.  I can always go back to full time if things go pear shaped, i'm sure they will have me back.   Had to cancel taking the Brownies Ice skating tonight, as Jane went and had a Hemiplegic migraine attack just before we were meant to leave.  She has gone back to bed to sleep it off, got to go and wake her in half an hour so she can go to work.  Just updated my Complete  M150 course - this is now complete - and I passed.
