another tough one

Had a really rough councelling session today, and it wore me out,my councellor had said last week that i need to be more self discaplined and i tried it this week but i am already discaplined and go walking etc and keep boundaries for myself,so i told her this week that i am already in emotional agony and experience so many horrible feelings daily without more self discapline,i find that encouragement and rewarding myself works so much better. She said that she had made a mistake and was sorry.i think its all trial and error. So sick ,ive been asleep on settee for 3 hours tonight.Life is so hard.

Hi 3 hour councelling session, sounds extreme, yes its hard to keep struggling through life, but we dont really have much choice, think were all strong for doing it,im getting a nice brown leather settee and chairs on wednesday ,so im looking forward to that,im buying my dogs some little boots so they dont scratch it to bits, sure they will love wearing them (not),ive been trying to train them to lie on beanbags i got,but they look so hurt like im rejecting them,as i usually cuddle up with them on the settee, soft or what ? x

Yeah, good for you for standing up and telling your counsellor. She should not have told you what to do at all. Therapy isnt supposed to be about telling poeple what to do.
