Another story which is from an old journal/new moms
Asking for signs...
Everyday for 3 years my friend and I would walk the length of the beach, the beach that I would take my 2 Children when they were growing up, which is not far from where we live, some of you know, I had my son Ryan's ashes scattered their, one day I was driving down to the beach, thinking about my son, I felt sad, and just wanted to know if Ryan was OK up their in Heaven, so I asked God to please give me some signs that Ryan was OK, so I got to the beach and started to walk, now the beach is about 2 miles long, and I usually walk the whole length and back, So I'm walking along the beach, it was a nice day, still praying for signs that Ryans OK, and as I was getting closer to where Ryan was scattered, I saw this big hugh black cloud, I was hoping it wouldn't rain so I could get my whole walk in, all of a sudden it started pouring buckets, I was soaking wet, so I stopped to turn back to my car, and I looked to see if I was near Ryan's scattering site, and there I was exactly at Ryan's scattering site, where we had put rocks like a shrine, so we can sit on them and talk with him, but it was raining so hard to stay and talk to him, so I poked my head around the wall and laughed, and said I know that was you Ryan, letting me know you were OK, that also was his sense of humor, to drench me, now I'm running back to my car, I get in it, soaking wet, now I'm driving back home and about 3 miles down the road, I looked up into the sky, and it was bright and sunny, and I saw a cloud perfectly shaped like a scotty dog with angel wings, when Ryan was a baby we had a scotty dog, I was so in awe, I kept looking up, all of a sudden I saw another cloud, no kidding!! shaped like a mans face looking up into the horizon, the detail of the man's face looked like George Washington, now I'm almost home, and I see this young boy getting out of his mothers car, with a black baseball suit on with number 11 on it, he was crossing the street to his fathers car, now when Ryan was that boys age, he had the same color baseball shirt with the same number 11, when his team won the championship game, I said thank you God for giving me all those signs, now I know Ryan is OK..... I\'m a great believer in signs--so glad you know that Ryan is still looking out for you and letting you know he is ok! Hugs, Diane
Precious Ryan is a busy Angel letting mama know he soars freely and sends his love and laughter across the universe. The knowing and the certainty that our boys are playing catch with stars is such a comfort.
I am going to FL where Christopher grew up, next week. My son and daughter and I will scatter his ashes in the ocean he loved so much. After 18 months I am ready to let go of some of him. I fully expect crosses in the sky during my visit there, for I know without doubt he will be with us on that day.
hugs, Rebecca
