another small victory
Today was the first day we went out after my surgery. For the 1st time in over a year I was able to walk around the supermarket. Didn't have to ride a cart, didn't have to stop every 5 seconds to catch my breath.
When we got home, I basically collapsed but it sure did feel liberating.
I go to my pulmonologist on Monday. The one that initially told me I was not a candidate for LVRS. That should be interesting.

I still think you\'re doing too much, way too soon, but who am I to say. I hope and pray that you at least washed your hands after returning home from your \"liberating trip\" to the market! It goes without saying, I\'m proud of you sweetie!
Hugs, Jim
Yes dad, I am being very careful about my exposure to the outside world and I love you for your concern. The docs said to do what I am comfortable with so I am. I see the rehab people in 2 weeks. That\'s when the real fun starts! Today is R&R, tomorrow is a visit to the pulmonary doc and I will wear a mask.
Thanks for looking out for me.
Hugs and kisses
Pat
