Another rambling journal
I am finally over the flu that I managed to bring home from Portugal. I rarely get sick so was really out of sorts!
I am finishing my yearly job - interviewing nursing home residents. It is a resident satisfaction survey. This is the 4th year and I don't see much difference in the results. However I enjoy visiting with the residents. A few even recognized me from last year. I also get to visit with some of the staff members that I worked with. In fact I am going to lunch with the 3 managers who are there now.
I didn't tell you about my visit from Lisa on our flight home. Joe was in the window seat. We were above clouds. He told me to look out. There was a reflection of our plane on the cloud and it was encircled by a rainbow. I have never seen anything like it. I just knew Lisa was with us and I felt at peace for the rest of the flight.
Joe had a colonoscopy today. He had a rotten night and really didn't start to feel normal until this evening. He is fine. His mom had bowel cancer several years ago so he has to go for one every 5 years.
I think I mentioned that Cevyn is moving in to a house with 2 friends. I hope it works out.
I am starting to fade!
Lisa: Thank you for the beautiful rainbow. It felt like our plane was encircled with love and safety. It was such a smooth flight. Please be with Cevyn and keep her safe. I miss you always and love you forever, Mummy

What a wonderful sign from Lisa. The rainbow in the clouds must have been beautiful.
I\'m so glad you are finally over that flu.
An absolutely perfect sign from Lisa! Sending prayers & good vibes that things work out well for Cevyn!
Glad to hear that you are feeling better and that you felt encircled by that rainbow of light and love on the flight home. I am always delighted to hear what how our children let us know that they are very much present with us.
Oh, I have to have that dreaded \"C\" this year as it\'s been ten years since my last one. I remember thinking how far away that felt at the time and here I am. Dear Joe... Glad he is fine.
Enjoy your lunch and yes, hoping all works out for dear Cevyn. I have no doubt Lisa is keeping a close eye out on her beloveds.
Love your way dear Marlene,
XO Joanie
I can just picture that sign in all its glory! Good job, Lisa! So glad you are getting over that cold or flu too. Those things seem to hang on forever. Your satisfaction survey sounds interesting. I have been helping my friend, Meg, with her dad\'s home. He keeps falling and Meg has decided to put him in assisted living. My dad fell yesterday too. He is a worry as well as he lives 17 hours away. I am glad Joe is feeling better. I know my last colonoscopy kept me under the weather for a couple days. Ugh! Sending love to you all and positive thoughts that Cevyn\'s new living situation will work nicely for her and her friends, Leda
Isnt is wonderful when we hear from our kids. So uplifting. Hope it works for Cevyn as I know you worry about her and the decisions she makes. Glad Joe is feeling better. That \"C\" can take its toll on us for a couple of days. I think we have all probably had one. Our weather has become absolutely magnificent. Hope yours is as good. Love, Katrina
Glad you\'re on the mend. I can only imagine how beautiful a rainbow is up in the sky. I\'m sure Lisa was there. Best of luck to Cevyn. Living with friends can be fun and maddening but good memories none the less. Much love. Robin
I hope you are all better, being under the weather sucks. A pat on the . back for Joe for passing his test. I hope you have fun at your lunch. Cevyn will survive all young adults do. Lisa did good this trip, rainbows are so beautiful.
Tight hugs
Penny
Take extra care and hope you\'re feeling better quickly.

Hugs, Debbie
