another poor family
One of my co-workers whose name is Chris, lost a brother to a heart attack 14 years ago. His name was Jimmy. He was 32 & died in his sleep. When my son passed at 37 from a heart attack Chris's mother Jean called me & was very kind to me. She gave me hope & told me that someday I would breathe again. Well, yesterday, Chris's other brother, Jean's other son, died in his sleep from a heart attack. He was 49.
How can life be so cruel that 2 sons are taken? I know there are a couple of mom's on this site that have lost more than one child. It is heartbreaking.

I will certainly pray for Chris\'s mother. I cannot even begin to understand the horrible pain she must be feeling. I didn\'t think anything could hurt me as bad as losing Michael, but losing one of my other sons\' would break me. Love, peace and prayers, Roselle
How tragic! They say that we are not given more than we can handle - but that is absolutely more than I could manage. It is tough enough as it is.

I will pray for this family, 2 children ... one can only imagine. My parents lost my sister at age 35 -killed in an auto-train accident and then my brother at age 45 in a motorcycle-18 wheeler accident-he was killed 2 years before Mitchell-they were killed on the same road 1/2mile apart-I saw my Dad wither away after Mitch was killed, it was more than he could bare. Words fail me. When my sweet Nathan was killed, I thought I was it would never happen to me. Don\'t know why, but it always \"happens to the other person\" was my view. You never want to think it could happen to one of your own, much less two:( I just can\'t imagine it. Hugs to the family and you sweet lady:) Danette
