another omen!?!

Thursday, to get ready for next day's garbage pickup, I started throwing away some dvd cases, to put dvds into envelopes, for whatever paranoid idea that if any stolen, at least thieves would get almost no money from a pawn shop for dvds in envelopes.
But, at same time, I was wondering: why am I even doing this?  And, the last time I threw away dvd cases, a month later I found that my expensive 1960s back issue magazines were stolen, by the bunch my landlord had in my apt for fixing my ceiling.  I wondered, Thursday, if something similar was gonna happen.
Today, Sunday, I find my bike light gone---stolen.  I finally biked to Walmart this morning, with a bike I bought a couple weeks ago; had bike light flashing all the way home, to be safe.  Got home at 7, with outside cat looking for food, which ruined my concentration?  Maybe I left the light flashing on the bike, which happened a lot to rear red light I had on prior bike.
There are three other bikes with the apt building I live in, with one bike having a clip-on piece for a light like mine.  All of these other bikes belong to a upstairs half-way house type of bunch, of ex-homeless minor criminals.
Last Monday, a week after I bought my bike, I found my garbage can lid had been thrown into the yard; I forgot about that; maybe that also inspired my throwing away dvd cases on Thursday.

Sounds like my neighbors as far as the ones you are referring to. I hope that nothing gets stolen from you, because it is so hard to replace. I have had people tell me that all you have to do is replace stuff, well, hello, it does cost money.

Just know you are in my thoughts, as usual, been pretty sick. I just hope you get a break, and let us know how the cat does. I feel so sorry for animals who are homeless. About like I feel sorry for some people who are homeless in this day and age. Of course, I better shut up, because it does not look good for me either. Hugs to a dear friend.

I\'m certainly hoping the best for you. Sometimes, that\'s all it takes for better things to happen in somebody\'s life, as nutty as that might seem. That, and getting away from all kind of negative people.

My life seems better than was 10 years ago, when I was surrounded by all kind of bad news. The bunch upstairs at least isn\'t sitting outside 24 hours a day, which really prevented me from doing anything when that was the story.

Another reason I care a lot about my cats---they like guard dogs; as long as they\'re asleep in living room when I return home, I know nothing happened when I was gone.

Though, my elderly cat---it\'s 9 in morning, in August, he laying next to electric radiator I plugged in just for him being cold!
