Another Mother Cries
I am sorry to report that a friend of mine lost her son this week to a motorcycle wreck......he was 46.....she was home alone (not married) when the police came to the door....His name is Tommy...
Also, same day another man in his 40's was hit and killed on a scooter....
Also, there is a young lady from IU that has been missing....
Please pray for these families...
Also, we will be having to put Brent's ( my son) dog down next week due to Heart worms...unless someone knows a cure....

I am so sorry about the grief that seems to surround your friends.
As for the dogs, the treatment is to almost poison the dog several times. It is expensive and harsh on the dog and loved ones. It depends on how infested the heart worms are within the dog. Prevention is definitely worth it if the dog is not infested.

Prayers going out to the familes and you as well..........as for the dog, if the dog can be saved, the shots are very painful, exspensive and its a long recovery. A neighbor took in a stray only to try and save her, to no avail......
I read about the treatment for heartworms...and do understand it is a difficult recovery....but if we can find a way we are going to try...She means so much to my son .....Thanks so much to all and especially to Marcia (bardbard21) Ryan\'s mom who has contacted someone that may be of help....Banshee is her name (my son\'s dog) and he brought her and wants so much to say her as he was so close to our German Shepard Heidi growing up...Going through his divorce Banshee has been such a friend as all animals loves know what they can do for you...He is praying there will be a way to say her....Thanks to all again for prayers...and help...and prayers for the family members that have a family loss...Sandi
