Another Monday

Just another day, just a new beginning to a new week. I'm not sure about this retirement deal. Haha.

I actually woke up at a decent hour and finally got some decent sleep.  It's been almost 2 weeks and no calls from the Nephorolgy Dept to even schedule an appt yet (which I was told by ALL DRS to do right away.

I've been having all kind of issues but I'm sure they are magnified because of my stress /anxiety of not having any answers to get me to the root cause. I'm doing very little except when I do push myself . Sleep schedule is off, but I am going to get that back on track. I still do some stretches and try to get up and around, but I have to say when I do go out just to the store for a few things (I wind up visiting with a few coworkers) when I get home I need to sit for abit. My strength is drained (in the amt of time it takes to shower and wash my hair, my arms are tired and I can feel the tension in the back of my neck and shoulders.

I have always had issues with some hoarseness ever since they overzapped my thyroid, but lately it has also become worse and almost constant.  I always sound like I have larygitis.  (My late hubby would be in heaven. lol)

I do realize I should be (and am ) grateful that I am doing as well as I am . I also know there are many far worse off than me, so I will shut up now.lol It's just another start to yet another week. Today I have a few task to accomplish and I am sure I will feel a little better as I get something done.

PS. THE OFFICE I CALL SAYS NOT TO LEAVE MESSAGES AND THEY WILL RESPOND WITHIN 24 HRS. IF THEY DO NOT WOULD YOU CALL EVERY DAY UNTIL THEY DO?   They say no multiple messages but don't respond so 1 a day should not be too much to ask????

I know what you mean. When I wake up every day, the first thing I do is thank the good Lord for giving me another day.

Maybe a call to your primary care dr and tell them that you are not able to get apt!!

Bless your heart for a "positive" attitude!!

Good to hear from you. Stress/anxiety can magnify your problems. Do you have a counsellor, friend, you can talk to. Keep journalling, it helps. You are your own advocate for health care unfortunately. Hugs for results & better days ahead. Brooke & Henri

I would give the doctor's office 48 hours. Some of these places are so short of staff. My new pain med doctor has one staff member, who takes phone calls to make appointments and does the intake stuff. I learned I could make an appointment on the app. Easier. It is a new practice. If I had a medical emergency, I would go to the hospitals ER but not unless it was a heart attack or something bad. LOL.

Now let me say I am so sorry to hear your physical health issues. Keep writing to us on here. I am hoping and sending a few prayers up for you to get into this doctor's office soon.
