Another Monday
I have had a tough time but today was a better day.
I had my SIL's fiance and her sister-in-law over for lunch yesterday. They are in Calgary planning the wedding. I enjoy her but she is so excited about the wedding - it was hard seeing her so happy, knowing she is about 13 years older than Lisa. I just hurt.
But today, we drove our friend who has MS to the doctor and went for breakfast. We had a nice visit. We are also doing resident satisfaction surveys at the facility where I was a manager. I enjoyed touching base with some of the wonderful staff I worked with! I was happy to hear residents praising them. And of course, it was fun listening to the residents reminisce. I think it is going to take me awhile to get the job done!
So I am smiling - tentatively.
Have a great week!

It all sounds very promising. How satisfying to get good feedback from the residents! And good that your project will keep you going with these fun memories for awhile.
Major life events are hard. Period. We want to be happy and are happy but there is always the wistful \"but....\" Corrie\'s friends are heading towards their mid-20s and that means starting careers, finding life partners, traveling, just enjoying life. One young couple is about to buy their first house! I\'m glad you enjoyed the brunch despite listening to the wedding plans.
Sending lots of love your way ~ Debbie
I\'m glad you are having a relatively calm day. Good smiley Monday. Sending love, Terry
Finding your smile once again... this is the journey. Gentle care this day and in the ones ahead. Loving care from my heart to yours. XO Joanie
Marlene, its hard to see life moving on while our kids are no longer physically here. But you are doing well & keeping positive about the wedding for Cevyn & that means so much. Love to you and sweet Lisa, Linda
