Another Let Down

Well, I had been looking forward for over a week on getting together with what I thought was possible good friends. I was invited several weeks ago to spend time at someone's house for a fire pit party. Well, I just saw on facebook that they went to a local baseball game. When I initially saw it it literally " devasted me" since I was really looking forward to spending time with them . They also have issues which include money and I really liked them a lot. I was tempted out of desperation to show up to the game and try to connect but I realize that maybe I smothered them..... Oh well
