Another Good Day
Today has been another good day. I went to the mall to get a home phone (Vonage) from the kiosk I used to work at. Turns out the girl who put me through hell there is gone, and has been for a while. Makes me feel better. I have a new (temporary) phone number, so if anyone wants it, just send me a message and I will give it to you. I have the hiccups, and I hate them. *takes some deep breaths* Can't get rid of them, so I just have to ignore them for now.
As for sleep, it's been off and on. Fri/Sat I got 7 hours, then an hour nap, Sat/Sun I got 12 hours (go me!) and last night I got 8 hours. I'm feeling pretty good with that sleep, so I'm just going to let it be for now. The Risperdal has been giving me some crazy dreams, but that's just the way things are. My appetite has been off and on... I get hungry a lot at night now, but c'est la vie.
I noticed something when I was at the beach yesterday. There were so many women there who were skinny, but had "problem areas". I'm not saying that to be down on them, not by far, but more of that even skinny women have things like stretch marks and cellulite. It makes me feel better about my own body. So many women are down on themselves for little things like that when almost every woman has them. We need to learn how to be happy with what we have if it's healthy, and if it's not healthy, then to change what needs to be changed. I know I'm never going to be 130 pounds. I don't want to be that small- I'm built like a horse, it would look funny. I'm actually pretty healthy for my weight (around 250 pounds)- all my bloodwork is good. I just know the extra weight can lead to stuff like type 2 diabetes so I want to lose some of it. But the body I have now? I'm pretty happy with it. Especially after seeing all these real women with their body issues. Ladies, if you are struggling with body issues, know this- Almost every woman out there has the same issues, and if they don't, they probably paid to get it removed. Be proud of your skin!
Only took 10 minutes, but the hiccups are gone! Yay! I'm in a good mood- not hypomanic, but just in a good mood.
Food: had a doughnut and coffee for breakfast, 2 hot dogs (plain, no bun) for lunch, salad and regular dinner. Also drank a bottle of tea.

I am glad that you can notice the way people look and compare that to how you look and then commint about it in a positive way, it shows good self esteem. Eileen is the same way about her body, she knows she ways that much, she knows she is healthy and she knows she will never weigh less then 225, she accepts it. You eat proper, exersize, that is all you can do, don\'t beat yourself up because you do not look like everyone else, because you are not like everyone else.
I\'m not like anyone else and I don\'t wanna be lol. It just makes me feel better to see people who look like they would have a \"perfect\" body in clothes in a swimsuit and you can see their little flaws, just like you can see mine.
