Another Funeral today
I just finished another funeral today. The lady was 90 and a fomer school teacher in my home town. Her daughter was ahead of me in school and her son was behind me in school.
She had a wonderful life and her family were well pleased with the service I gave. It had been 40 years since I had seen this daughter and son. The son said he recognized me by my deep voice.
I am blessed to be able to preach messages that are a comfort to these bereaved families. I moved back here, to my home town 2 years ago and I have lost count of the funerals I have done since I came back.
God has given me genuine love and compassion for people. I am very thankful and humbled by the way the Lord uses me. "What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought, since Jesus came into my heart".

Just think...your friend got to spend Easter celebrating with Jesus and the angels...and all of the saints! I have also thought of that for our own sons. I can only imagine. Thank you for sharing.....90 years is a very long time. I am sure your friend was ready to be with the Lord. In Christ, dale...brandon\'s mom
When someone lives to be 90 years of age and has had a wonderful life and family, it should be a celebration that this person is now at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
