Another friend leaving
Another friend is leaving DS. Seems there are a lot of my friends lately that are doing this. This saddens me because this is my only avenue of communication with them but, I realize they have reasons for leaving and I respect their decisions. What made today a better day for me is that I led a lady to the Lord that I have known since 1963. She was a ticket lady at the local theatre here, I was the usher at the same theatre and her husband was the manager. Later I bought a house next door to them and we lived as neighbors when i was a Biker, an alcoholic and, drug user. Today, I led her to the Lord and she is dying with cancer. The Doctors have given her 4 months to live. I am so blessed to be able to lead her to Christ before her death. She has seen me at my worst and the last 37 years, she has seen me as a minister and Pastor. I thank God that He allowed me to have a part in her decision to finally, give her life to Christ. I have always said that I am no-ones judge and I am not. I never look down on people, I just meet them and treat them with genuine concern and love and Like this lady, she saw the difference in me and she wanted to be saved. She attended my church 2 weeks ago and said it was one of the greatest joys of her life. She is 75 years old.
