Another first
Hello Honey....
Today is July 5th and I made it through another first.
Dawn and the kids were here enjoying the pool
a good part of the day. We had lunch here and later on went back to her house and grilled dinner.
The kids had some fireworks and other than that it was an uneventful day and nothing like the big family get togethers that we had when our kids were growing up in the Bronx.
Wow, from the Bronx to Mississippi and all the memories in between.
You just don't realize that while you are living life and taking things for granted, that you are created memories, some good ones and of course the bad ones.
And as they say 'Life Goes On'....but for me, the life I remember stopped last September 13th and will never be the same.

That\'s true, the things we did in the past are now memories. Good and bad. But we will always have them. Even as life goes on.

Its true life does stop as we know it the day our spouse passes. All we can hope for is comfort, peace and if we are lucky joy as we learn to move forward. Wishing you only the best. Gerald
