Another Death--Another funeral
This morning I received a phone call at 8 am. my brother-in-law's sister was in the ER. I grabbed some quick breakfast and went to the ER. The tests had came back and she had had a major brain bleed. I stayed in the ER with the family and then they moved her to the 5th floor, to make her as comfortable as possible but, there was little hope. Her husband, son and, daughter were there. They notified her son in Florida and he was making arrangements to catch a flight out. Her grand-daughter came in at about 11:30 a.m. and she went to be with the Lord at noon. They would have been married 70 years in October.
I have known her for almost 60 years. She was 87 years old. I will be doing her funeral as soon as arrangements are made.
47 years ago, I followed this couple to New Mexico and spent my Honeymoon in her brother's camper, in his back yard. I was 19 years old and I was driving a 1956 Buick, 2 dr. hardtop. Lots of memories of her and her family. Her daughter and I are exactly 1 year apart. We celebrated our birthdays together when we were in our early teens.
