Another Day of Sleep

I've just been so tired all day today.. I don't know why. It took me forever to fall asleep last night, like an hour and a half to two hours, and then I woke up at 5am or something and had to take a klonopin at 7am to get myself back to sleep. I sure wasn't tired this morning, but after taking that klonopin, I slept until noon, woke up and ate lunch, and then slept until 3pm. I had to force myself out of bed to prevent me from sleeping any longer and keeping me up all night tonight. It might have to do with that stupid horror movie being on my mind. I know I shouldn't watch movies like that, but I love them. It's hard when the things you like are bad for you. I get OCD about the movies and stuff, and keep thinking about all these things that could happen, scary stuff that would never happen in a million years, or in the past hallucinations about the stuff I saw (or stuff my mind just made up). It sucks. I used to love watching horror movies, and now I can't watch them anymore. I don't know if that's what is causing me to have problems sleeping at night, but it makes sense to me. I'm tired now, and I think I could almost fall asleep now if I wanted to, but it's still too early. I just want to curl up in bed and sleep, but I know that I need to stay awake a bit longer to take my pills and finish this journal.
I talked to my cousin again today... she's doing good. Her kids are back in school, so she has more time. I'm hoping I can go see her again sometime this year... I had a great time hanging out at her place with her kids. It was nice to talk to her and just chat about what's going on in our lives. I finally have stuff to talk about now that I'm volunteering and stuff. I told her about my trip to see my mom, and she was happy my mom and I got to spend time together. I got to hear her son running around, playing his games and popping those confetti poppers. I almost wish I was up there right now, with the cool weather they are having and how nice it all is when the leaves change color. I've never really lived in a place where I got to see leaves change color on a large scale, just a couple of trees here or there. I've seen trees change, but not lived around them. I thought about moving up to where my cousin lives before, but I would rather move back to LA to be around my family. I do miss my family and wish I could be closer to them, but at the same time I've never been as close to them as I have been since I moved away. I think that having that distance has been a big part in me being able to be happy with them... no getting sick of them or anything, lol.
I barely did any exercise today... I did do some of my strength training, but not all of it. I've been really slacking in the strength training department. I need to go out and do my walking and jogging tomorrow for the first time in weeks. I've been keeping up with my cardio for the most part, getting in a lot of walking and swimming that one day, but I have fallen behind on my sit-ups and stuff. It's just hard since I don't think about it a lot of the time, and when I do Geo's normally in bed and I can't do my exercises when he's sleeping. I do my sit-ups on the bed since the floor is too hard on my back. It's been so long since I've done my exercises that I don't even remember which ones I'm supposed to be doing. I change them up every now and then to get some different routines into the mix, but that came to haunt me since I just changed them and don't remember which ones I'm supposed to be doing. I could check them easily, and I will, but *shrug*.
Food was okay today... calories were okay, but the quality of food was bad. I had ramen and pizza. Geo forgot to take out chicken to defrost, so we had to order pizza. I should have gone with Chinese food, but it's too late for that now. I have been craving Thai food, but there's no place that delivers that around here. Sorry, I'm distracted. I'm being attacked by a bug that keeps on crashing itself into my face. Bugs just love me for some reason. Anyways, back to food. I had chicken for breakfast, and ramen with veggies for lunch. I try and make ramen as healthy as I can, I drain and rinse the noodles so there is less fat and I don't add the whole seasoning packet to cut down on the sodium. Stress was okay for the day... just being scared because of that stupid movie or else I would have been fine. Sleep I talked about above.
