Another Day
As I type this I realize I have been here SO MANY TIMES. After some bad days, trying to start over . Usually I am good for a few good days before something happens and I slip back into old ways. Lately I would give up rather easily . So often I come home achy from work and stressed by yet another insurance fiasco. I have been doing the quick grab and go for lunch ( which usually involves something unhealthy. . . comfort food) I am determined to think before I do this. (Another big part of the problem because often I DON'T want to think about it all. I just want it to go away)
I do understand that I am at a point where I need to do this because there is a reason I am still here. Health is at a bad point for so many reasons.
This morning I have begun AGAIN with a light healthy breakfast and some of my PT exercises. I plan on doing more later . I am up and around catching up on postponed housework. It feels good to have an improved outlook and some energy and hope (and plans ) for my future.
Wishing ALL OF US a very good day. Happy Hump Day.

See the spin its all my fault? LoL
Far from it! Bahaha
Every day can be a fight to progress on sobriety from something, ie. drugs, alcohol, food, etc. All we can do is keep trying.....hugs.
Every day is a chance to make good choices kinda like a clean slate. I think you’re doing a good job trying to stay positive it can be so hard to eat healthy. Especially after working all day I would imagine your tired and want to sit down some and rest
Keep at it Kim, a restart is not a bad thing, it shows that you will not give up.
hugs my friend. be gentle to yourself. So start over and do not look in the rearview mirror.
And here I am... again. As I look at my struggles they all point back to work. I have moved my "retirement" up to November 30th and cannot wait to be out of all the crap. I do worry abit financially, but without constantly being upset or exhausted (not to mention the saving on medical costs) will definitely be a bonus.
Thinking of you! I hope your retirement helps you overall. I think financial worries are normal when you retire but as many have told me, you learn to live with your new budget. You will feel less stressed overall and be able to relax and let your body reset. Hugs
Thank you.
