Another Crash Landing
Any landing you can walk away from...
Last night I put the supper dishes in the sink to soak for a bit before washing them. Then I turned on the computer. The rest is somewhat hazy...LOL. Apparently I made it into bed this time.
I woke at 0530, blundered around for a while, did the dishes, and washed some tee shirts.
Then I took a break and drank some soy milk. Couldn't decide whether to go grocery shopping, set up some containers, or go dig more holes. Suddenly I felt really groggy, so I closed my eyes and sank into a dreamy state where I kept dreaming and waking, dreaming and waking.
Something's definitely not right. It's probably a crash from all the heavy work I've been doing lately. All I can do is try to work with it. Today looks like a write-off...nothing done all day but a little laundry. At noontime EST, the heat indices were already topping 100 degrees Fahrenheit according to the weather report on TV, so afternoon work is probably NOT a good idea.
Go with the flow is the best I can do right now, I suppose. This could be a bronchitis flareup, from all the smoke. When the Public Health Dept. is warning the chronically ill to stay indoors, it's bad. The Mud Lake wildfire complex is finally 80% contained...after burning more than 35,000 acres. And it's not the only one that's still burning to some extent.
Can't remember how long I've had this headache...days?...weeks? I lost track.
