Another Couple Months...
We were going to start our second IUI cycle this month but, of course, yet another road block! Long story short the cost of our IUI would be doubled until April due to lack of funding at our clinic. So we decided that, financially, we should wait until the cost lowers in April. With how my cycle works our next one won't be until the end of April - meaning 2 months to wait! AHH! Feeling like eveything in this universe is holding us back from achieving our dream. And of course another friend has announced a pregancy . . .
Hubby and I decided to focus our energy on our health the next two months. We try to stay relitively healthy and active but we're honing in before our next treatment. Doing a 21 day yoga challenge and today will be our third day doing the "Whole 30" diet - which essentially means no dairy, no gluten or sugar. This is especially hard for me because I'm a stress eater! My nathuropath doc swears by this, though! I've done it in the past and felt a lot better in many ways. If it will help increase fertility and hopefully improve the health of my left ovary (I tend to grow lots of large cysts), why not try anything that might help, right?
I'm also looking into acupuncture and osteopathy! Anyone with any insight to either of these? Or anything else that you practice as part of your fertility boosting regimen?
Wish me luck! Hope you are all well and blessed this week.
xx

Hey there! SO sorry to hear about ANOTHER road block. I know all too well how that feels. I think the Whole 30 diet sounds like a good plan for prepping your body and detoxing. We did a 21 day fast which essentially was very similar to the Whole 30 diet and I felt really great. I was thinking I was going to jump right into IVF afterwards but when it got pushed back I jumped back into eating my regular diet. I did give up gluten for about 3 months though in the past. Currently not consuming any caffeine.. I've been doing acupuncture for about a year now. I was really hopeful at first with going. It has helped regulate my cycles and help mange some of my endo pain, but still no baby. I know a lot of women who struggled to get pregnant that acupuncture has helped though, so I'm still holding out for it. I totally think it's worth a try if you are considering it. I also do a little bit of essential oils to help manage stress and some are supposed to serve as a fertility booster. Good luck to you!!
