Another Close Friend dies

Sunday morning, another close friend died.  He used to work for me in the oilfields back in the late 60's.  He was just out of high school but, he was a good worker.,  His dad and me set a lot of pumping units in the oilfield as well.  Terry's dad was a welder and later, he followed his dad's trade and became a welder too.

Terry got cancer a few years ago and he did a lot of chemo treatments.  I went to his home a few weeks ago and visited with he and his wife.  Beings we had been friends all these years, I asked him about his preparation for death and eternity and when we finished, Terry gave his life to Christ.

Wed. I will be preaching his funeral and it will be very difficult for me in many ways but yet, I'm glad he accepted the Lord and is now in the presence of Jesus.
