Today I had minor surgery on my hand. It seems okay - as I am typing with both hands!!
The nursing staff were just wonderful. Very understanding about the ways MS might affect me.
I find that the majority of medical personnel I meet are quite knowledgeable about MS. perhaps we are jus very fortunate here, that people with MS are not only taken seriously, and are believed, but that the myriad of symptoms we present with are not seen as odd or 'in your head'.
I'm glad it's over, but I was never anxious or stressed.

I am glad your surgery went good. What was wrong with your hand?

I had a lump removed. It\'s called a ganglion. It was at the base of my thumb and was in a very awkward spot. I kept catching my bag on I!
