Annual Pap Smear results and new love

I went on August 17th to get my yearly anal pap smear.    I actually went a month earlier than planned but wanted to get it out of the way.    The doctor's assistant that met me for vitals prior to seeing my doctor actually remembered me from when my doc was at another practice so that was cool.    Anyway I got my examination and he noticed nothing out of the ordinary when examining my anus.    So he took the swab for the APS and I got the results back Wednesday telling me everything looks normal.     So I just have to return again next year.
I'm so elated!!!!    Looks like my body is fighting off the virus and hopefully will keep it in check for a long while.
By the way I've been dating a great guy for close to a year now as well.   I told him about my HPV situation and he's been nothing but supportive.    Never thought I'd meet anyone in general and thought having dealt with the HPV would make it even harder.     It's become a serious relationship since we both met each other's families.    Hoping that we stand the test of time.   So far so good.
