Anniversary 9/11
Hello to all my daily strenght friends.
Sept 11... is a day to remember for all americans. I remember being at work on Wall Street on this day year 2001. It was a beautiful day, the weather was just perfect. I was sitting at my desk & notice all this paper & smoke flying pass my office window. I was on the 36th floor and found this to be very unusual. [I worked in the World Trade Center for 7 years]
I went to the window & notice a fire within the World Trade Center [ the fire was close to the top of the building ] I thought to myself, how will the fire department put this fire out. I decided to go out and buy a cup of coffee...thinking I will go back to my office and watch the brave New York Fire Department put this fire out. While I was out buying that cup of coffee, the second plan flew over head [very low] lower than I have ever seen a plane fly over this beautiful city. I thought to myself, something isnt right. The engine seen to slow down - then speed up again just as it hit the second World Trade Center building. The ground rumble & there was an explosion. People turned around in shock, to look up into the skyline & notice the second building was now on fire. Then everything about this beautiful city changed in a New York minute. Our lives was forever changed.
