Tomorrow marks the one month anniversary of my sons death. My husband has to be at work and I'll be here all alone with just my three year old :( how am I supposed to get through the day?

Oh my friend, it will be a difficult day for sure....One thing your have is us...all of us on-line that will help carry you through these dark horrible days....Being through so much that your have had to endure in your short life....brings such a burden to your heart.....the first are always so very difficult...but I find the date each month I try to get through them without the pain, trying to ignore it....but it never happens...My son passed away on the 30th and not matter what that date jumps out at me no matter how hard I try...It\'s a date that is etched in our minds and hearts forever....I wish I had an answer for you to help you through the day....if you see me on line feel free to chat ....that was so helpful to me in the beginning and still now talking and writing journals.....I am so sorry that your walking the path with us now in this sorrow...but remember, we are here for you....we will hold you hand and hear your cries through the pages of our site here on FMO....as we all cry we each feel the cries and pain of each one....Reach out to all your friends on line tomorrow...make new ones as the struggle of the day overcomes you....we have been there as we all wish we had never had to be...but we are and because we are we feel every pain your heart feels....every horrible beat that it takes bearing the pain of your wonderful son.....God be with you as you go through the thoughts of your loss.....and know we love you...and you can just reach out to us at anytime...Sandi
I\'m sorry.....Your pain becomes our pain....

You will get through it as you have gotten through all of the days before tomorrow. With us, with your strength. Journal whatever feeling you need to. We\'re here. We know. We feel it too. That\'s the wonder and the beauty of this site.

Love to you and your oh so precious son,

Dearie, one minute at a time. Not all at once. You and Jon... you have to kiss a lot tomorrow. I was the surviving baby sister when my older sister died... I know how seriously it rocked my world. I know how much I think of my mother and father for taking good care of me even though their hearts were so broken, losing their Mary. Don\'t try to hide it or hold it inside though. We all know it has to be real, to come out and be part of who we are. We\'ll never be the same.
We will be here for you of course. Write, ok? OK.
Big hugs,
Sarah

You will make it through the day....just one second, minute, hour at a time. We are here for you - journal if you need to...do something \"fun\" with your three year old - hard as it might be - tell him stories about your son. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other tomorrow and please let us know how you are doing. Hugs, Ann

Allow your three year old to be your healer... children seem to just know and let him into your heart to massage it with his tender hands and loving presence. I know how much these \"marker\" days hurt and we are here to hold your hand and to walk it with you. Sending gentle love and comfort to you this day. Love, Joanie

You will make it, you have to. you have a 3 year old who needs his mommy now more than ever. The work you are doing to change the laws can\'t be done if you don\'t make it through days like this. Your ability to survive will not let this tragedy be the domino of many other tragedies if you don\'t. Your husband even though at work is sharing the deepest of pain with you and each of you must function and grieve in your individual ways. I wish i had good answers for you, but i don\'t. don\'t be afraid to cry, don\'t be afraid to smile, don\'t be afraid to share and don\'t be afraid to ask God to carry you in his arms today. Lots of hugs and healing prayers to you.
