I'm a volunteer at several local shelters. I would like to build a list of people who make certain trips with some regularity who would be willing to give an animal a lift to a new life. I
I've noticed that hundreds of animals die needlessly yearly, just because they couldn't get a ride. The ride to a long life could have been as short as 7 miles -- from Center City to a suburb. But since there was no ride, they couldn't get to a destination that could house them.W
When city shelters are bursting at the seams with new litters and lost-n-founds, the shelter workers and volunteers work closely with rescues and shelters in other areas of the city and state where they have adopters waiting for them. Some animals have new families waiting for them a few states away but they just can't take advantage of getting a new home because they didn't have the transportation. Shelter workers coordinate all of these things with their colleagues in the business, but at the end of the day, the animals just need a lift. This is particularly sad because people drive within miles of the two locations daily without knowing that they could save a dog or a cat. I
I will start a list of people who can and are willing to drive from one area to another area. Then, when I see a transportation need, I'll contact you to see if you can give the animal a lift. Eventually I will put all of this in a database on FB and the web. The shelters are so grateful to people who help with this vital task. The animals are always ready to go with their papers and directions. P
Please write me with the region IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD you could easily transport from and to, your size car, and your contact information. I'll contact you and we can go from there. Again there's no requirement. If I call you for a transport and you can't do it, no problem. I'll call the next person on the list. Eventually all of this will be on the web.Thank you for stepping up. There's nothing more satisfying than to drop an animal off at a location where you know they will be starting a new life.

its raining out a lot. ds is acting up again. text is disappearing when i write something. grrrr.
i\'m upset today, but no specific reason. just things. or just the weather. doing payroll which of course sucks. discovered e bay has yachting items on it for $1 like a dollar store of yachting items. wow! our area supervisor, self promoted himself, and i have proof in e mail -- the email is ILLITERATE!!! so i have to handle it. what a pain in my ass.
the new area guy is harrassing one of the guys here, who i actually need and does good work. the pay here sucks so don\'t harrass anyone newbie, and this area guy is new. then i have another one call me to say, the new one is soooooo dumb, he is having dinner at the old man\'s house and falling for his shit. one phone call later the area man says to me, that he believes the old man is vacationing in kentucky. the new area guy is from kentucky, so obviously the old man is snowing him. i started laughing and i say to the area guy, the old man is from MAINE. he vacations in MAINE every year. WHY would he believe he is in kentucky. what is the area guy born yesterday? i say it to davidg and he says, this guy is like a forest gump - that kind of dumb. verrrrry true.
the old guy had said the same thing. but i didn\'t know the rest of what was going on. also my neighbor insists he has the area guy on camera IN MY YARD!!! if that is true, time for a lawsuit. what an asshole. that is the SECOND person the old guy paid to tresspass at my house - the other one was the russian. the russian also tresspassed at my timeshare and got caught!
we have gone through this before, a few years ago, with the ex-cons that work at the pound who have access to rescuers addresses. the deal was that prison people would only work in the kennel. LOOK what happens! this is why court personnel aren\'t supposed to give out addresses. but i have never given out my address. sooooo fucking creepy. grrrrr.
so then i\'m talking about this at walmart and they think they have him on camera there as well, i know a few of the managers from the walmart over here...there was a fat man following me once - when i shop, i eat whatever i want and then pay afterward. i worked in a food store as a teenager and i know its fine as long as you pay for it afterward. its like cocktail hour and lots of fun, instead of drudgery of shopping. so the fat man comes up to me and offers to take the empty container and i say to him, no i\'ll get it at the cash register. he was following me, so my friends come over and say, do you know him because he doesn\'t work here. they think its this same new area guy and they have the film to prove it. WHY would he be at our walmart? he doesn\'t even live around here. can it get more creepy. feels like harrassment and stalking to me and i feel very damaged by this. like ten million dollars damaged by all this. seriously. lol. what an asshole this man is. it doesn\'t get any worse unless he physically attacked.
