angry phase

well i guess i am officially in the angry phase of grief ....obviously.... i am burned out, tired, sad, and overwhelmed.  i am at work today.  12 hours at least sundays arent as annoying with people as other days...dont mind my patients....just co workers mostly and all the drama that goes with a city job.  i am only sleeping a few hours a night that are good sleep....and my whole body aches all the time...i think i have just gotten so out of shape and i am either pre or in menapause now so bonus my hormones are out of whack at least i finally got the hot flashes to start slowing down a bit...........i constantly have gall bladder pain too but our insurance wont do anything till it causes a critical illness. gotta love kaiser insurance.  oh well it is what it is and we just had a call and i am working with this one guy that i cant stand he is creepy and always touching some of us but i think he finally got the point and is backing down a little bit plus he is very difficult to get along with on calls.  he is a big a** hole!  uggggg some days i hate my job.

As a Kaiser patient I can relate to some of your frustration. It was Kaiser\'s mishandling of my husband\'s health by changing his primary care physician every few weeks for the final few months of his life that killed him. He had a systemic fungal infection started as thrush in his mouth and he was given lozenges to treat it and when it came back they gave him more of the same but it went systemic and finally into his blood stream. It seeded itself in his pancreas, liver, lungs and other vial organs. The night he died the ER staff did a body scan and said it was cancer and had spread throughout his body. But just a month before he had a bone scan for prostate cancer and it was clear and his urologist told me prostate cancer does not go from localized to full involvement of all organs within a few weeks time. When I had my emergency cancer surgery the idiot anesthesiologist forgot to fill my epidural so I woke up in my hospital room without any pain meds after two tumors where removed from my colon along with having a complete hysterectomy. I still suffer from some ptsd from that event.

Good - the A..hole is backing down.

Menopause is not an easy time and stress makes it off the scale in how bad it can be.

I hope you get the gall bladder tended to soon. How do they know it is not cancer or some such thing without taking care of it?

Be gentle with yourself.

You are in my thoughts and I care.

((hugs)) Patricia
