9/2015 I recently turned 53. Anemia runs in my family. My mom, me and my oldest daughter have it. But shocking, when my daughter took my 14 mos old granddaughter in for her "well check up", she was anemic and was given oral iron drops. But recently, my anemia is so bad I've lost my taste buds and have lost 20 lbs in 3 months. Also, it is lowering my "already low" blood pressure creating MORE problems.
