and yet 2009 isn\'t starting much better
Well, is is now 2009. We are now seeing our own health problems from all the stress over the last few years. In December they told my dh that he needs to have an angiogram to determine if his heart is healthy enough to undergo valve repair or replacement. The angiogram will be happening this Thursday. That means that since the hospital is 1 1/2 hr drive, we will be leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) and staying in Asheville until Friday AM. Want to be certain that medical care is close at hand in case he happens to be one of the 2% who have complications. Also, don't think either of us will be up to the curving mountain roads after all the tests on Wednesday and the procedure on Thursday. One can never plan far enough ahead. We will be returning to Asheville again next Wednesday to hear the results. Then we will know the direction his medical care will be taking. On a brighter side - - - all 3 of our military men (youngest son, grandson & grandson-in-law) are now back on US soil. We have been truly blessed in that none of them sustained any injuries, but one has some serious PTSD. Please pray for him, his wife and young baby. Love to all
