AND WHAT DOES THURSDAY BRING.....

Well, stopped by to see my GP this morning, a couple of weeks ago when I was on week two of the antibiotics....got killer headaches, and fell over a few times.  Wasn't dizzy or anything, worked out I was tripping over my left foot.  My whole left side was numb....has improved a bit but today I still have a heavyness and weakness with pins and needles in my left hand/arm.  Can't feel pain, so am being careful in the kitchen (there is movement...but a kind of 2 second delay between brain and limb)  Headaches have eased a bit. Doctor is quite concerned, gave me a referral to a neurologist and am having a ct brain scan this afternoon.  He says I will need an MRI, but that has to be ordered by a specialist.  Anyway, he said it could be the Lupus, but he is also thinking MS.....terrific.....I said I was quite happy with the Lupus and had enough to go on with.....we joked around...I told him I wanted something a little more glamorous....he is used to me doing this, I think it's probably some weird coping mechanism I employ.....no point in crying about it. Did some shopping and booked the ct appointment, was going to put it off 'til tomorrow, but may as well get it out of the way, have to get antibiotics (for upcoming dental ripoff...sorry treatment) and painkillers for the love of my life's collapsing skeletal system (what a pair!) and the pharmacy/warehouse is in the same area. Neurologist can't see me 'til January 7th but I will get priority if there is a cancellation or if things get worse.  Guess I will have to see the GP again anyway when he gets the test results, he said if I had to wait 'til January to call by and see him to make alternate arrangements. Nearly 10.30 a.m time for a last cup of tea, as I am only allowed water until after the scan.  Not sure why that is, but who am I to argue.   Managed to do heaps in the garden and the koi pond over the last few days....inside jobs for the next two...the housework always suffers when I have a gardening frenzy.  My sister-in-law is arriving from Italy on Tuesday, she is my husband's youngest sister, we haven't met before.....not too sure how long she is staying.  Hope we get along, I am a solitary soul...just me and the animals during the day, I love the silence, but I will really try hard to do something a bit more interesting while she is here.  Sometimes people exhaust me....don't know why.... Anyway, off to put the kettle on, can't explain how I feel right now....a little disconnected...perhaps that is what I need, will try and do some quilt piecing this afternoon...most therapeutic. Hope you are not all bored rigid...but hey....this is my "truth".  Maybe I'll put together something more rivetting another day.  Love, light and peace .....

You know, I had the same issues and could not take any antibiotic that had been given to me, I have a reaction on every one. Since I have been dx\'ed with the myasthenia gravis, I now know why the antibiotics had such an effect on me. I hope that you are able to get in to see the neuro sooner than that. When I did my last cleanse and started yoga, the numbness, tingling, and paralysis went away. I hope that you are able to get some relief soon. I also hope that you have a great visit. I just got rid of visitors and while I was glad that they were in, I was also glad to get my home back. I too, like to fly solo and so many don\'t get it.
