Smoking was easier to beat than I thought. Took me two months in to DS to even try. But was successful with the cigarettes. But nicotine? Another story. I enjoy a cigar now and gain and even though it is the taste rather than the inhaling that entices me, it\'s nicotine just the same. So yes patches are cool, but they more treat the psychological and finger manipulation than the nicotine addiction itself. The psychological aspects are really tricky. 5 days nicotine free and your body is literally detoxified. But your brain says reach for one continuously. Wellbutrin worked wonders on both. It is also a very good anti-depression medication. I am on 300 mg daily and my craving to reach for a cigarette are all but gone. Depression is manageable and the psychological effects are good to go also. Just a though on your progressing to this monumental goal which obviously led to your current condition. I am behind youand look for your inspiration to beat my nicotine and cigar habit.

Behind me? I doubt it .its just that I feel I need to get hold of something by the horns and beat it. This was as good a thing as any. Let\'s face it, it can go. It\'s not needed. Watch it pass like a train going through a station...... Bye, bye smoking. I feel good. You just make me feel better....

Thanks Joe......
