I just can't believe that for all of the shit I have been through and the shit I have put my family through that I am still drinking daily. Now my wife's job is being transferred 100 miles away from here and we are moving in June of next year. We have to go because her job is great and if she were to quit she would never find comparable pay here in the bay area. I work for Safeway so my job is easily transferrable. I don't really have much family left but my wife has most of her family here for support. Now that we are going to be all by ourselves I got to be more of that support system. The way a husband should be. But how can I be that for her if I am drunk all the time? 8 months to clean my act up. I better start today.
