Had a nice Thanksgiving. We hosted about 22 people which was a good number. We were expecting about 8 more but a family member got sick and they didn't feel like traveling. I had lots of help in the kitchen and people brought food to help feed everyone. There is a store here that sells turkeys for less than 50 cents a pound when you purchase $50 of food so I got a 22 pound turkey for about $10 to feed the mob. Lots of potatoes and we were good to go.
I knew it would be hard to go to sleep that night, but I tell myself it's worth it to just rest and try to relax even though the body is aching. Such is life.
Risk taking time? I have my manuscript revised for about the bazillionth time. I need a proofreader for the last go around. So, the risk is asking someone who may not know me very well, or much about my illness, to actually read the book to see if it makes sense. How far do you read before you stop because you have lost interest? That kind of thing. It is a bit scarey. Always wonder if I am being too personal and revealing too much truth, or will it help those in need to actually tell it like it is?

Sounded like quite a Thanksgiving! Yay for you and the sale too!! Glad for all you accomplished!! I used to be great at spelling.. But Chemo brain me.. So messed up!!
