And so just when things are starting to go well...

So, as some readers may know, I attend SAA meetings every Tuesday night.  Well, last Tuesday I got a sponsor (it was only my 3rd meeting there).  It is a fellow that I can relate to quite well, and so I am glad, because he will hold me accountable and I can relate to him.  So he said that he was going to call me.  At this point, you might be waiting for the funny part of this story.  Well, fast forward to Thursday evening.  My spouse asked to borrow my phone.  She used it for an hour, and when she got done with it, it didn't work, and the phone company is going to mail me a new one, which should arrive either today or Monday, which, with the way my luck works, means Monday.  So now my sponsor, who was planning on working on the steps with me, is going to think I'm a complete bum for not calling him (or anyone else, for that matter) until class the next day. 
Having said all that, I still have minimal temptation to act out, look at Porn, and I've been sober for 33 days and no masturbation for 21 days.  It is only thanks to the strength God gives me that I've been able to do that.
